Tps

hey, im trying to adjust my TPS and i read the tech article on it, but i have a few questions. It says to make jumpers to you can touch the voltmeter leads to it, but there are 3 pins on the harness, so which ones do i need to touch the leads to? also it says you need to loosen the screws that hold it on and then rotate it up or down, but the screws hold it pretty snug in place, you cant really move it around much with the screws installed. and how does moving it around change the voltage?
thanks for any help anyone can give me.

You need to put your voltmeter between the blue wire and a ground. Loosen the screws and if it moves at all it's fine. Just hook up a voltmeter and you'll see how moving it changes the reading. You want .54volts closed and about 4v wide open.

okay, i think i have one of the newer sensors that dont have much play, so i drilled the holes a bit bigger to give it more room to move and i think i got it right, thanks!
