question about belt routing.....
Since I have removed my smog pump AND A/C, will I have to use a different belt routing to take advantage of the factory belt tensioner. My stats are: a 305 TBI serpentine. I know someone has probably done this, and maybe tooken a couple of pictures. I would appreciate the help. the are just sitting there ya know.

Do you have an A/C delete pulley?
Oterwise you have no pullies on the passenger side. To use the tensioner you will have to put the spring in another way so it pull up not down. Then wrap the belt on top of the tensioner instead of underneath.
