Self-Aligning vs Non Self-Aligning Rocker arms

Are there any differences in appearance between the 2? I've got a set of Comp Cams Pro Magnum Roller Rockers, and my heads have guidplates. I want to make sure I've got Non Self-Aligning rockers before I button everything up (this is a new engine). Thanks!

Look at the tip, on either side of the roller... if there are raised places or washers there that would force the tip to remain centered on the valve stem, then they're SA. If nothing whatsoever is below the roller when they're installed, then they're non-SA.

What part # are they?

Sweet, thanks for the info. I dont have a part # right now (bought them used long ago), but after what you said, I'm 98.9% sure they are NON Self Aligning, because I dont remember seeing any kind of aligning mechanism like you mention. Thanks!
