Hello,
I am contemplating putting a Hotcam in my eng
it has the high rise intake and the distributer
that the perf parts catalog calls for with a ful 2.5 inch exhaust (sorry not third gen, but i own one) has any one done this and what were the results, let me know thanks sean.....

Why the HOT cam (buzzword)? That's a fuel injection cam, with all of those compromises; if you're running a carb, get something more tailored to the possibilities of a carb.
Is the motor in question a roller motor? If not, you have to convert it to run the HOT cam or any other roller one for that matter.
