what's the sensor on the block, i think, possibly heads on the passenger side of the engine? the wires got ripped out when installing my headers by a friend and was wondering what that sensor was, he thinks it was a temperature sensor but, then he also thought there was another one on the driver's side....just wondering what that sensor is and if its hurting the car driving it without it? its an 89 350 tpi

 

i the heads are the temp sender for the guage in the driver's side. the passenger side is the temp sensor for the fan(s). should be one wire to each. will need to get the one on the passenger side put in. or just ground it and the fan will stay on.
