Carb to FI

Ok i asked this in the carb board but they thought i was crazy but i wanna know if i can go from carb to FI and if this would be prity easy if anyones done it before or if theres a tutorial that woudl be easy enough for me to follow (link to website would be nice ) right now i have a V8 5L 305 w/ a 4 barrel carb if that matters, thanx in advance

I think it would take a lot of work. You'd need the intake, fuel system, computer, and wiring harness. It would probably be cheapest to find a wrecked car and just pull everything from it(including the engine). If you just swapped to FI you'd also have to elongate the intake center bolt holes to make the intake fit unless it came from a vette--which would be the least of your problems.

lol ok maybe i should just get a diffrent one how much would it run to just get a Fuel injection engine (long block) sorry not very big on car knowlage....
