yesterday someone tried to steal my 85 iroc
by crushing the steering column now it wont start. none of the wires were cut it looks like they just kicked it in
but how can I start it now. just to get it out of the parking lot to get it home

 

I had some j/o 's try to steal my 85' back in 92' in Newark. They smashed the column up and mangled it bad. There wasn't any electrical damage. I got it started by using a pair of pliers. There is a long aluminum rod inside the column when you pull on the rod it will unlock the column and fire up the car. It sucks bad but I got around until I got the column replaced($500.00 bucks).
