What does this mean?

Looking at the different manifolds, Accel, Edelbrock, ect. Some of the charts that list the flow numbers that I've seen say that a '3/8 inch radiused inlet' will increase flow. What is a '3/8 inch radiused inlet'?

Thanks,
Kwik

Actually, his monogram (MAS) in Spanish would translate to "more", which is just what he is getting...

That means that they radius the inlet ports where the surfaces for runners, etc mate up. Like when you radius the insides of the plenum ports, this makes for a smooth transition from plenum to runners which will help keep the velocity of the air charge up.

As far as the 3/8" radius, imagine a complete circle 3/8" in diameter, now cut out just enough of the curvature to match up with the part you are going to radius and superimpose the section on the part removing anything that sticks out beyond the superimposed curvature, you would then have a 3/8" radius cut on the piece.
