Stock head info
A buddy of mine has an 84 T/A with the H.O. 305 and is looking for a set of heads. I told him I think stock heads flow 52cc's but that I wasn't sure...am I right or wrong? Also, he's found 58cc and 70cc heads for sale..which are better for his application? He wants to build his engine N/A with a nice sized nitrous shot. I don't know about this V8 stuff..just a humble sixer from across the boards.
Thanks.

The set of heads he has on the 305 HO will port and polish very nicely. If he wants to keep driving the car and do a set on the side, tell him to get a set of 081 or 416 castings from the wrecker and then follow the instructions linked at the end of my sig.
601 castings will work good too, they just require more work in the bowl areas to shape properly.
Any of these will flow like Vortecs when done right
