I need the bolts that hold the T56 transmission to the LT1 Bellhousing. Through the dealer they are 5 bucks a piece.

8 of em at 5 bucks is 40 bucks. I would like to spend a little less. This swap is already a money pit.

Anyone know what size they are? and where i could find them?
I also need the nuts for the U-bolt that holds the clutch master cylinder/Pedal to the firewall, and the nuts that hold the clutch slave cylinder to the bellhousing.

Those fasteners are metric. If I recall, the master cylinder u-bult and slave cylinder bolts are an 8 or 10 mm. Best bet is to take the ubolt to a hardware store and trial fit until you find the right size. The slave should have the same nut as the ubolt, but its been 2 years since I did the swap. As for the bellhousing bolts, just ask the GM dealer for the actual size. They should be able to tell you.

this is really old, but I also needed the size bolts for the tranny.....found out they were 10mmX1.5 40mm long.
