what is this???
can some one tell me if the first direct multy ports 305ci 1984 motors where any good. i think its out of a chevy pick up truck. what are those (multy port) oh and its carb, if any one has any idea what i am talkin about let me know, i'm lost on this.

Multi port is a fuel injection system. Since you say it's carbed, maybe it's throttle body or cross fire. Don't know if those were any good though.

multi-port is in reference to MPFI whixh is fuel injection,
84 truck were all normal carb engines, crossfire in 82-up was available in cars
got a pic of this engine or numbers off the front or rear of it ? or numbers off intake manifold even ?

i dont have the number yet i will but is direct port 305 ci mean just fuel injection? thats what i dont understand the guys said it s the first direct port that came out . um i dont get it. and yes it has a holly carp and the intake is edlebrook? where do i look 2 et the numbers?
