Need help, '94 Grand Am electric door locks....
Sorry all, obviously this isn't F-body related but I don't know where to look for help. I've got a friend who just got a '94 Grand Am and her electric door locks aren't working right. The electronically unlock, but won't lock electronically, she has to do it manually. I want to know where to look for problems and what to look for that would make them only unlock but not lock? Are there any common problems I should look for? Please help. Thanks for the help, especially since it's not F-body related, but you're helping an F-body owner. Thanks again.
is it mechanical or eletrical that's failing? does it try to lock and not or does the switch not cause it to lock? if it tries but doesn't look at the lock and linkage system if it does nothing i'd poke the switch wires wit ha test light and trace back to the door.

I believe it's an electical problem. I guess I'm gonna assume the setup is the same as the camaro with a relay for locking and a relay for unlocking. Any idea where to find these relays to test them?

check on the drivers side of the dash, I maybe wrong but the 99-up are like that. well, in either one the fuse block is were you should look first. then switch them if they have the same number
