Spark Plugs Wire Loom?!
Spark Plugs Wire Loom?!
Does anyone know a company who makes Spark Plugs wire looms for routing the wires over the valve covers?? All the looms I find are for 87 and later cover style... I have 91 Valve Covers with center bolts style. Anyone has pictures of cool installations? Give me pointers here!

Spike IROC-
I bought a set made by a company named "Made for you". They were expensive ~$45 or so because they came with 6 longer centerbolts. They worked out pretty well. I got them out of the Summit Racing catalog.
I can't attach a picture because I left my 3.5" laptop drive at work- sorry!

Why?
What's wrong with leaving them where they belong, out of sight and mind and harm's way, and not interfering with removing the valve covers and such? Do you just enjoy spending money to downgrade your car and create extra work for yourself all at the same time?
Don't do it. It's pointless. Just make sure your factory ones are intact, and use them.

Spike,
I have the same wire looms as swerve. I paid the $45 because I though they looked cool, then I realized because my valve covers were taller I had to get even longer bolts which I had to special order because no hardware store caries them. Then I had to make special washers so that it would all sit right on top of the valve covers. In the end it cost me way to much time and money. Yeah I guess it looks ok, but not worth it to me. Then when it comes time to take off the valve covers there is a whole lot of cursin and tools flying, major PIA. Do your self a favor and use any style of looms other than these.

I think I'll try those made by Moroso, they're only 25 bucks on Summit. Thanks a lot to all of you guys.
BTW awesome looking engine Pony Killer! Where'd you get those valve covers?! :hail:

I got them from the classic industries catalog, they are made by GM though so you should be able to get them at a dealership. They come with the letters blue, but I painted them to match the other stuff. Oh yeah they are pretty expensive some where upwards of $200.
So did you decided to go with the regular wire looms then? or just a cheaper version of the made for you kind?

Pont Killer Wire Loom
Pony-Killer-
Nice Work with the engine bay- wires especially.
RB83L69-
With the headers I bought- it seemed that the stock wires would just not jive. But, I agree with your comment on not having the problems when removing the valve covers.
Also, the small nuts and screws that come with the made4u setup are a drag. They work, but there is likely better product out there.
