Clunk sound when braking?
When I brake I get a clunk sound from the front passenger side I think, anyone have an idea as to what that could be.
Also, is there a way to change motor mounts without pulling the engine or trans?

the clunk sound is probably something brokem, like a bushing. There is little rubber parts behind the brake that are used for turning. if one of these is broken then you will probably get a clunk, or when it happened to me...it felt like a bump in the road. As for the engine... engine and tranny mounts are to easy to replace. All that yo need is a a jack, 2 jack stand, and new mounts. Jack up the car and then put the jack stands under the suspension to keep the car in the air. after that LOOSEN the bolts that hold the engine to the body. Jack up the engine and inch or two and then take the bolts off of the mount. put the new mount in and torque to specs. be damn careful not to bend the oil pan. You also should read somemore before you attempt this. A chiltons manuel is always a good start.
