"Exhaust Gas Recirculation", typically with "valve" or "system" after it.

To keep down the formation of nitrogen oxide compounds (pollutants), the combustion temperature needs to be controlled. An easy way to do that is to "contaminate" the intake charge with a little exhaust gas. The time and amount that some exhaust gas is recirculated into the intake charge is controlled by the EGR valve.

I went to that site just for a look, and I'm laughing my ash off. Right on top of their header, just before the link to "Performance Parts 4 Cheap" is the link to "Buy Stickers". How do you argue with that mentality (or the lack thereof)?

The tech articles are good none-the-less. The site does need to be maintained better.

But try the forums man, get your egr answer there I guess.
