Hey guys, I was wondering what 4th gen parts work on our cars.
Like I know the LS1 alluminum driveshafts work, what other suspension/chassis parts work?

 

Well, the seats will bolt in! Kinda the last "suspension" piece before the bump hits your butt.

The rear axle will bolt in, but the offset is wrong for use with 3rd gen wheels. The torque arm probably interchanges (if your 3rd gen is a 10-bolt rear axle), but I've never tried. Panhard bar???? Lower control arms, I'm pretty sure. Shocks?? Probably not.

 

Seats are a direct bolt in. So is all of the rear suspension with the exception of the springs. Rear swaps right over, but you will need 4th gen wheels to get the wheels to look right. Driveshafts like you already stated. The exhaust from the catalytic converter back works too, you just need a different flange at the cat. LT1 camshafts can be used in the 87+ roller motors. Rear disc brakes can be swapped. The 93 only 700r4 swaps right over.

Thats the easy stuff. A lot of other things can be installed into a 3rd gen with a little work. Things like the dash, console, even the whole damn engine. The T56 6 speed trans is a straightforward swap.

The front suspension and all body panels are pretty much out of the question.
