Bigger Y-Pipe

If i get a bigger y-pipe (3'') will it flow as good as headers?

not sure what your saying but if the y-pipe comes with headers as well (edelbrock, hooker, etc) it will flow alot better then the stock manifolds and crappy *** y-pipe with the 90 degree "y" section that it has.

The manifolds must be dumped as well if you wish to have a freeflowing exaust.

No since in getting a 3'' y pipe to use with stock manifolds, I'd save up for some headers with a 3'' y pipe.
