Thinking of selling my car :(

First off, sorry if this is in the wrong area, but there isn't really an "advice about your car" forum (that I know of)

Well, anyway...I just recently (last month) purchased a 1983 Trans Am, and got it on the road last Wednesday. It is now Sunday, and I'm thinking I want to sell it already

I'm not really having any problems with it, I've put a bunch of work into it, and now it's running great. It just...doesn't do it for me. I just know I'll get myself into trouble eventually, and probably soon

I paid $1200 for it, and I've put in about $300, not including registration.

It's got ~76,000 miles, on the original 305 motor, with Cross-Fire Injection. It's got a 700R4 Transmission, and is overall pretty clean. It's got a few very minor paint issues, the biggest on the hood right behind the cowl induction. It also has 2 nickel sizes rust spots beginning to form on the bottom of the passenger side door.

What do you think I could get for it? I'm going to go buy a want-AD tomorrow, or something, and see what the going rate around here is, but I'm looking for feedback here...

Thanks Guys

76k on an 83 for 1200 bucks...sounds like a good deal to me...id think if u found the right buyer, u could get 2000 for it...depending how it runs and looks, start off as high as possible and slowly work your way down...u could also compare prices in the classified section here. good luck

3rd Gen board members should get first dibs. Post it in our classifieds section. Someone here may want to restore it or use if for parts. It couldn't hurt to do right?
