Shudder thru car at about 50 mph
Shudder thru car at about 50 mph
92 camaro 305 TBI 163,000 mi
When acceleratoring thru 50 mph, I get a shudder from the back to mid point of the vehicle. It is more pronounced when I do not push firmly on the Pedal.
Any ideas? Engine mounts, rearend, injectors?
Starting to drive me nuts.................
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My first wild guess would be bad axle bearings. Under heavy load they stay wedged against one side of the bearing. Under light load they bounce around in the loose bearing and make noise. Pretty common on a high mileage car.
I repacked the wheel bearing and no change. I did a search and saw mention of getting the tires balanced. With the bad roads in Houston, I have not done this.
Hopefully, it will be this simple.........
