I want to replace the stock breath i my 91 RS(V8 TBI) with a aftermarket one. The stok one on my car leaks oil all over the air conditioning lines and hoses. The thing that is keeping me from doing this is that the plug inside the valve cover is smaller than the repacement air breather I want to buy. If I pull out the rubber bushing will it be the 1 1/4 inch hole I need for the replacement breather.
Has anyone done this? If so please post.

yeah i did that i put new chrome valve covers on so i bought all new chrome breathers and pcv vavle, all you have to do is go to pep boys or autozone and get them, you need to get 1 1/4 rubber grommets, should only be a few dollars, then you can put and aftermarket breather just make sure its 1 1/4'' let me know if you have any more questions

I'm not buying new valve covers but if I pull out the existing grommet will the hole be 1 1/4 inch cause that is what is keeping me from doing this little project.
