I decided to pull out the engine because of oil leaks from almost every possible and impossible place. I've also torn manifold studs while pullin' out broken starter motor
I think it's a good occasion to change a few things like camshaft or timing gear; throw these heavy manifolds into trash and get a nice set of headers and do some heads&intake porting. The only problem is buying all this stuff - I live overseas and every single thing must be shipped via surface or airmail, every pound is $$$... I never disassembled sbc engine before, don't know the weight of parts to be shipped; can you give me this info about camshaft, lifters, roller rockers (both Al/iron), timing gear and shorty headers w/o AIR? Thanks in adv.
