can anyone give me a link to somewhere that has info on the LT series engines and anywhere where i could buy one from a damaged car (online junkyard or the likes)

im either going to get a new engine or a TPI set up sometime soon for my 88 TA with a 305 TBI, i am leaning towards a new injection system cause i dont want to really spend all that much, if i do find a TPI somewhere around me at a junkyard or something, what things should i look out for?
