im thinkin of a ZZ4 cam, my current engine is the L98, stock. I was wondering what i would need. im pullin the motor to do this and was wondering what i would need. 1.6 rockers for sure, new springs.

another question is i want to take the air conditioning off, would i need a pulley in its place?

 

assuming you have the serp set up yes. you can get the a/c delete pulley from www.gmpartsdirect.com AC delete pulley: 10115875 yes new springs are in order. the springs are the lt4 springs. might as well get the lt4 hot cam kit around $500 for cam, springs, locks, retainers, and 1.6 roller rockers. the heads will need to have the pushrod holes elongated to clear the pushrods from hitting the head. and the spring pockets will need to be enlarged to fit the springs. did it to my heads.
