i installed a new sender in the intake 1/2 on a performer rpm and it dont give me no reading?.....what could be the problem?...is it a self grounding type of sender or can it be in the intake?

 

Don't know about the intake location, but it sounds lik you have the wrong sender unit. You probably have the one for a idot light instead of a temp gage. And there are multiples of those also. One has a blade and one has a ball so you have a one in four of getting the right one. Check with your parts man.
