Has anyony dealt with Nu-tek located in Findley, Ohio??
If you noticed some of my posts, I am interested in building a 395 cu inch motor for my '87. I have sent two email messages to Nu-tek and have received no reply. Its been about two weeks since my first one and a week since my second.
Whats up with that place???
Also, Is there a good engine shop in SE Michigan???

Local speed shop here has a whole rotating assembly for that motor sitting on their floor that somebody ordered and never picked up.... thay want about $1800 or so for it.... Eagle (I think) 3.875" crank & definitely Eagle 6" H-beam rods, JE pistons IIRC, etc...

RB83L69: How are you doing???
Loveland is NE of Cincinnati. A bit too far, but why not. Can you give me some info on this shop? like name and phone number, and do they do engine block prep work?

I'm good, thanks.... lazy as always.... the winter around here is a real drag.
Cinci Speed is the name of the shop. I have no clue whether they have a mchine shop, I only moved here recently and haven't really needed a machine shop yet. I just saw this stack of stuff sitting on their floor and asked about it, since I'm considering building a somewhat larger small block than that, for which I could use those rods. But he wants to keep it as a set since it's alot easier to sell it that way than to bust it up and try to sell pieces of it.

My 396 was built by Nu-tek. Frankly, I don't think they're worth the hassle. They do excellent work, but turn around time is measured in months. You can find plenty of other quality shops that can have the work done for you in less time than it takes Nu-tek to answer their emails.
