first off I have a 1982 trans am, it has a 305 LG4 motor and automatic transmission, the motor is all stock except for a edelbrock intake manifold. I plan on doing some mod's to the car my first mod is the intake system, I have two systems, crossfire & tuned port injection, my car is not raced which induction system would be a better choice for just everyday driving, the second is my transmission, I am going with a borg warner T-5 and a 373 posi disc brake rear end, I also have a set of edelbrock TES headers with flowmaster cat back exhaust, what kind of performance gains can be expected from this.

 

i think it's widely agreed that crossfire injection is the worst system ever designed for these cars; i would go with the tpi, but it will require some work.

 

this is my other trans am, its a 1984 Im going to take all the nice WS-6 parts off it for my 82, we can all thank the fine california smog ****'s for another f-bodies demise
