Hyd. setup in solid block?

I can get a 355 (late 70s truck block) with a forged bottom end, ported heads, 4 bolt mains ect., but it has a solid flat tappet valvetrain in it...it makes power from 3800-7100. I searched, but I cant find what i'm looking for, i'd like to know what all is involved in placing a hyd. roller setup in this block. Thanx.

Nothing, just replacing the cam and lifters with the hydraulic ones.

Well just take out the cam lifters n pushrods and the springs. Replace it with a retrofit hyd. roller cam. New pushrods with the proper length and the proper springs with the proper amount of pressure.

Marshall89ws6, what are you running as far as springs and all that? The guy actually has a Lunati 292 cam...I see thats what you are running too. Should be a real similar setup.
