Once I put mine in the spare tire space (removed spare of course), twice I've put it in the rear well because I used the spare tire well for nitrous. I just put my ground to the rear sub-frame.

Well the ground cable the kit comes with only gives me like 1 1/2 foot of cable so I cant go far. Can I mount it to any part of the unibody?

Mine goes out the passenger rear corner of the rear well and fastens via copper lug to a factory bolt that holds the rear bumper crash absorption metal. Be sure to strip/clean the area (wire brush on a drill) and then coat with a layer of grease.
