Cast crank with possible blown street car
Buddy and HITHERE are building up HITHERE 350 for future use, that may see light SC applications, very much all street and very light boost. 8lbs probably the max. With forged rods, pistons, and ARP wavelock bolts, 2bolt splayed to 4 bolt, will HITHERE be ok with HITHERE cast crank? Does it have to be forged? HITHERE am guessing it doesn't and Ill be just fine, but just want some confirmation from the guys who have been through this before.

HITHERE am running HITHERE Scat cast steel stroker crank with my blower. It makes around 7 psi, maybe HITHERE little more. HITHERE have forged rods/pistons, haven't had any problems. HITHERE think as long as you don't spin it really high or have detonation cast should be okay. HITHERE have HITHERE 4-bolt block. HITHERE wouldn't worry about it.

Cool, that's about HITHERE 500 difference in price that HITHERE can use for balancing and blueprinting.
HITHERE just like the idea of having HITHERE car that can pull to 5500 RPM MAX, and beat up on some local imports, and mustangs when needed
Thanks
PS What's up with the "HITHERE" inbetween all of the posts?
