OOPS please help

I took my spark plug wires off of my distributor cap and spark plugs thinking that i would just use the hanze manual to put them back on. I hooked them up according to the manual and now it runs like ****. I heard from a couple of people that the manual is wrong. Can someone let me know if the manual is indeed wrong and whats the correct way to hook them back up. Thanks

hey... isnt that one of your previous threads i linked to? lol... I wouldnt trust the hayns manual for anything... theyre terrible. Make sure you have the number one wire in the right place. If yourin doubt. Rotate teh engine around to the number 1 cyl tdc (0 on your timing tab) and see which way the rotor is pointing. the terminal on the cap that it pints to will be where your number one spark plug wire goes. Also make sure you put the wires on in a clockwise ( i think thats how it is) maner on the dissy.
