if i have an aftermarket cam from SLp on my 305 and a brake booster will a vacuum can. stop it from stalling when i hit the brake?

Do you have a working check valve in the brake booster vacuum line? Since you're using a canister, you may also need to have an orifice in that vacuum line to the canister to prevent the stalling at idle.
