ok , i got a weird idea and seeing how im cheap, i decided to make my own 1 inch spacer....i used the gasket as a template and i came out GREAT..i wish i had a digi camera to show yall....but the question is, ..is it safe?? and i used plywood...that bad or does it matter???

It should be fine, might want to seal that paint with some sort of paint though.

 

Don't forget to put your retainer clip back on, or you might over rev your engine and rear-end someone.

me- " AHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOO WTF!!!!!!!!!" heh, nailed the brakes, ..didnt help, hit the e brake, ...stopped he car * after i almost nailed someone* and threw it in neutral quick like and hit the key.....fixed it, cranked it up, glug glug glug black smoke out the tail pipes and white smoke out the manifold..NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ....let it si for a min...cranked up...ran fine...no smoke...im like "uhh thank ***??"
