Throttle-Body Rebuild
I recently took the intake off my 5.7 TPI car to get to the intake manifold and I noticed that there are several parts that bolt onto the throttle-body and have gaskets between them. I was thinking about rebuilding the throttle body. Do they make a gasket kit just for the gaskets on the throttle body?
89,
I've had mine apart to clean out the water chambers on the bottom, but re-used the original gaskets with no problems.
One word of caution - the screws into teh bottom can be really badly seized (mine were at 28,000 miles) and require a lot of patience, penetrating oil, and time/care to remove without breakage.

Yes, they make a TB gasket kit, has everything you need in it. Last one I bought was a generic brand a PepBoys or someplace...cost about 10 bucks if I recall.
