ok, ...car was running fine, then id shut it off, start it back up and it run like crap, NOW it wont start at all.....just RrrrRRrrRRrrr.....turns over....no starting,...i replaced the coil, cap, rotor, ignition module....wires.....NOW what....

Well, fi you went over the ignition, then I would look into if the motor is getting gas and air.....chek maybe the fuel pump going? I hope that helps-

eh, air filter is off...its getting air ....fuel is spirting through the tbi, ...i dunno if its supposed to spray or spirt at one second intervals while its cranking, ...never payed attention before really....car never did this before

 

Did you re-use your lifters or put new ones in? If you put new ones in, then I hope you soaked them in oil for at least 24hrs. If not, they don't let the vales close all the way, so the car will not start. You can try losseneing the valves bit by bit ( a 1/4 turn at a time) and I bet she starts rights up.

 

nah i used the old lifters *is that bad??* and the car ran fine for 2 days after the install, ..then it started messing up like...itd run rune, shut the engine off, ...start is up ...ran like crap....did that until it finally wouldnt crank at all....
