Thermostat's
I have a question for you guys. What tempreature thermostat do you guys run. I am currently using a 195 degree stat, and am running dual fans, that turn on at about 220. Would it be better to install a lower stat such as 180.
Thanks,
Justin

I run a 160* stat, I like the car to run between 170-180* all the time, but I'm having some cooling issues, I need a clutch fan.
If I were you, 220* is hurting your performance some, get a lower stat specially with warmer weather coming and have the fans kick on around 190* or so.

I use a 180°F thermostat and 187°F fan switch. The ECM, control system, and EPROM are stock, and I have no problem achieving full closed-loop operation with those components. My coolant temperature typically maintains at 195-200°F and never exceeds 205° on evne the hottest days (95°/95%RH) with the AC on.
