k heres whats goin on.. a few days ago i put a new carb spacer on.. now the car runs like crap when its cold, it will start right up but die the second you put it into gear, it will do this until its ran for a while then will run fine.. its a 350 with no computer controls and a holley 650 dp.. did i throw the a/f ratio off or something? also the carb was on its side for a while so maybe i messed up the float level? how should i go about fixing this? any info or questions appreciated...

while I'm not too literate with carbs, I would ask if it needs rejetted to accomodate for the spacer. Also, is it a manual or electric choke? The choke could be acting up on you if it only does this when cold.
