Coil upgrade Info Needed.

Is it OK to just change the coil to a HO unit without changing the ignition module or it is recommended that you change the module in the same time?

Would a stock I.M. work with the aftermarket coil? I am looking at the MSD part # 8226.

I have a 50,000 volt coil in my otherwise stock HEI.(I also have a cap with brass terminals.)

She runs just fine.I have freinds with the same setup and there's are fine to.
