Minor headlight trouble.
I just bought a 91' Firebird five days ago. It's in great condition except for the headlights. During the summer or when the car has been parked in the hot sun the headlights won't come up. The motors are working but the lights just stay down. During winter or when the car is parked in a cool garage they come up with no trouble. One of my friends thought that it might be caused by the gears warping with the heat. If anyone has any advise or suggestions I'd appreciate it.
Hello everyone. Yes, you read right. I own a Corvette. I know there is alot of friction between the two boards. To tell you guys the truth, i am a lover of GM sports cars. ALL OF THEM. My cousin has an 83 Z28, and soulbounder up there, my friend, just bought his Bird. I love all of em. His car is awesome. I cant figure out his motor problem though. I think it could be possible that the gears are stripped, or warped. What do you guys think? Hey, lets bury the hatchet. All GM'ers are brothers to me.
I don't know if this will help with your problem but it should give you an understanding of how the headlights work and links to parts;
