Tell me what you think of this BBC TPI for my 468

I am seriously considering running this TPI setup on my BB. Please give me your guy's opinion on possible benefits or drawbacks.(besides the price) Thanks !

Thats a good looking unit. Edelbrock just released a Pro-Flo MPI setup for a BBC and has a conventional layout with the TB where the carb would be. I am considering the Edelbrock unit. $2300 at Jegs.

I have heard both good and bad things about this CO. From what I can tell they just buy after market parts and then package them with plenty of markup. But hows that different from any other company. I just think if you can find out there source you can save some money by elminating the middle man. P.S. They do put together some cool looking combo's though.

I would think the 30# injectors would be small for a performance big block.

Ummm....unless you really have the need for TPI on your BBC, consider what 4+ grand would get you otherwise....

With that said, I'd love to have the extra $$ to put it on my 454

Money is the last thing im worried about. I just want the car to be done right. I already have $5000 into the shortblock, so theres no turning back now. Im just wondering if that setup will be able to handle my motor spinning around 6500 RPM.

Man, dejavu.

That is a beautiful setup.. I was looking at it myself.. if you are going with a procharger I would get it.. if not I would go with a big bad carb.. like a highrise intake and road demon carb.

If it's a daily driver I would go with a FI unit like that.. but if its a street/strip racer I'd go with the carb setup.

I figure the more electronics you have.. the more that can go wrong or just more stuff you have to tinker with.

If I end up with the procharger that will be under my hood also just for your 10-14.
