Ok i dont want to get to technical, but its going to basically be a 475-500 hp 383 stroker. but for emissions reasons i want to keep it FI. so ill just get me a TPi system. here is my ? whats the best or what TPI set-ups can i get that can flow enough air for this engine? I have a few in mind.. like the TPIS ones..lieek a mini ram. anyone know of any good tpi systems or anywhere cheaper??

What kind of car is it, and what type of induction system is on it now, carb or FI?

If you have a carb, I'd go with one of the single plane intakes converted to fuel injection. Look here under links, then 'fuel injection: http://www.mindspring.com/~recaro_ta/

I dont know exactly what your engine is like, but I would suggest a TPIS mini-ram setup. It's something to look into at any rate. If you call TPIS they'll probably be happy to discuss it. It is expensive, but they're the experts, and I think if you're going to try to use a TPI injection system on a 383, that's probably the best thing you can do. There are some people on this board using the super ram, but I dont know what it costs or how they like it.

I have done extensive research for my 383 and am also still working on compiling some, with all that I have learned, I know that the TPIS Mini-Ram is by far, the best TPI system availble, it by far surpasses a fully tricked out TPI or an Accel Super-Ram. Also, the Mini-Ram is easier to install than is the Super Ram, so the TPIS MR gets all of my vote!

i'm not going to get into the which is better arguement, and am in no way trying to start a flame fest.....but i'd say go with Mini Ram from TPIS or SuperRam by Accel...whihc is better? dunno...i think its just all preference personally...
