q on removing smog pump

i was looking at the tech article about the smog pump delete. the whole removal process seems easy, but the belt routing it showed did not use the power steering pulley. why is this? did they take out the power steering or is the pully not needed?
i'm looking to remove the A/C as well, as it does not blow ANY air anymore but makes a godawfull noise under the hood when turned on.
this is to clean up the engine comparment, not really for performance(if any)

the airpump can be taken appart and the internals removed. When combined with the 1LE AC delete bracket, you can use the existing belt size. AC delete bracket info:

part number
10055890
$36.00
800-711-2793.

ok i re-thought this
the pic on the tech articles did not use the power steering, but i want to. so i figured it would go from under the tensioner over the alt. down to and under the power steering pump, over and around the h2o pump, down and around the crank, and up to and over the AC, back to the tensioner.

im sure plenty of you have done it this way, so can anyone help me w/ the belt p/n needed.
and how much belts cost anyway?

If you look at the tech pic again you will see that they are two differant setups. The on on the right shows it without the power steering, while the one on the left shows it with. No idea on belt size though. Good luck, I think you are right on your routing though.
