I've always just launched from 1000-1200 rpm and have had good sucess. Its basically stock with bolt-ons and 3.27 gears. I'm going to the track on Sat and just wondered if anyone has launched from a higher rpm.

yea i launched at (full throttle) 1700 once on slicks. my car came off the line really hard but quickly bogged. on my street tires i find that a little bit of spinn is goodif i launch at 1300 the tires roast untill i am done with 2nd but it makes for some hight trap speeds.
