A recent car mag did a 350 "test mule" buildup, but I can't remember which rag it was. Anyway, it was a ZZ4 short block with TFS 23* heads and a Weiand 142 single-carb blower.
It made 470 HP with the stock pulley. That brings to mind another rag that did a similiarly small blower on a 350 - and milked that hummer for 545 HP. What they almost forgot to mention was that it was overdriven 280% (by using a different pulley on the blower). So, it was making 12-15 psi.
They did not say what the life expectancy of the blower case was at 280% overdriven, but I suspect it would be short.
