I have a 86 camaro z28 tpi 305 auto...

i may think of switchin to carb becuase i am really getting sick of this computer ****--carb is MUCH easier to fix, plus less expensive to fix stuff i break, since i like to hot rod..

anyways my question is, i bought the summit tpi cam and put it in, can i use this cam with the carb,i just know they made the cam JUST for the tpi engine and wasn't sure i would be good results or not, it would be nice not to have to put a diffrent cam in....

It's just a shame that you're bailing on EFI for stone age technology. Carbs aren't any easier to fix... just different. Hell, TPI cars tell you what's wrong in plain english! Learn how to use a scan tool and follow some flow charts and you'll be able to fix anything on a TPI car.
