What Coil &Ignition should i get.
I am ordering some stuff from summit including a coil and ignition (and tune up stuff). I think MSD and Accel are the two best in that area.
I saw MSD had a few different types of coils and ignitions, which combo works the best.

The Jacobs ignition systems are expensive but they're also *very* good. I know several people who have them and they're extremely impressed. I'm putting one in my T/A. When its up and running i'll post comments. Right now all I have are 8MM plug wires and AC Delco rapid fires, and those didnt seem to make much of a difference.

Thanks, i didnt see crane cams products.
And one other thing, how hard is it to install the ignition? And where do you put it in at? Of course, my friends doing it for me, but he shows me how as he's doing stuff. i kinda want a head start. I thin it goes in the steering colum which means i gotta worry about my airbag going off again in my face!

I just replaced my coil (orginal) with a PS-91 and it was so much better it made some of my old plug wires start to short! so I'm happy with that coil. Oh Jegs carries them.
And if you can afford it get a Jacobs ignition like someone else said earlier that is what I'm saving up for. Chevy Hi Performance did an article on it and liked it alot.

I got the MSD coil and wires, also put in the billet distributor. Did all this same time I did my timing chain, but it seems to work real damn good. The wires I got are the 8.5 super conductors. I'm happy with the combo...
