hey guys i have a 92 firebird. here is my prob.

my tensioner arm is coming undone (where the spring is). the actually pully is ok.

ANy ideas or advice? i cant seem to make it stay on so i would like to replace it. I hope i dont have to replace that entire acessor bracket.

SB2,

The belt tensioner is about a $35-45 item at most parts stores. It's easier to change than a water pump.

http://www.napaonline.com ; put in your car details, it's under "Belts & Hoses", then under "Belts".
