Help fast..IDLE
I need to turn my idle up, Its a 87 305 TPI, the idle is low and sometimes when initally shift from park to R of D it sounds like it wants to die...Help fast

Begine by cleaning the throttle body and IAC air passages. Once cleaned, you can set the throttle minimum air position to spec, but you really can't increase the idle RPM successfully without changing the PROM. The target idle is controlled by the ECM through the IAC, and changing the throttle stop position in an attempt to change the hot idle RPM can have other consequences that you may not anticiapte.
