the present is only to thank everybody in this forum for the enormous help i've had all these years, special mention to our friends EDE, VADER and SITTING BULL.
as you'll see, my engine is now running and is awesome, i couldnt have it done without your help guys, thanks again a million times.
the specs are:
1986 5.7 Canadian, with 416 heads, ported and 3 angled only (same 1.84 valves) a mild cam, 444I, 467E valve lift, 214, 224 duration @.50, 112 degrees separation. dished pistons and a 1406 edel. carb. got 145psi cranking compression.
i'm planning a follow up, so if somebody's going the same direcction, we can interchange data anytime.

I've gotta say, I like your color selection. The corporate black is so drab, and it seems almost non-Chevy.
