305 fuel injection

I have an 87 formula with the 305 and a Q-jet. I'm looking to put some aftermarket injection on it, like the stealth ram or mini ram. Which one would be better? I'll probably be stroking to 335 or replacing it with a 350 so i need the system to last.

The mini-ram is a nice setup. It's easy to install and gets good performance. You can also use an LT-1 intake. The Holly Stealthram is a pain to install. At least from what I have read. I don't know much about the superram. It is emissions legal. I know that much.

As far as using this on the 305 Many people say that it isn't worth it. The 305 doesn't need that much air to work. Also you lose to much low end torque on the 305. Best bet is to use stock TPI on the 305 and increase it's power by porting your plenum and siameasing your runners.

Stroking to 335 Vs. getting a 350 has been discussed alot on this board. I found a site last night had re-built L98 350's for about $1200.00. It would cost you more than that to get heads, machine work and the stroker kit for the 335. Best bet is usually the 350 where small block Chevy engines are concerned. Hope this helps.
