I posted this on the carb board, but got no responses so I'll try here. I've pretty much completed my 83 CFI 305 to carbed 350 swap. I have a new 670 street avenger on top, and bought the parts outlined in the TPI to carb faq. I have the same brackets and all, but my TV cable seems to be about an inch to an inch and a half short of where it should hook onto the carb. Has anybody had this problem? I have the throttle return spring and bracket hooked up to the front drivers side intake manifold bolt. Is there an extention or something to make my kickdown cable reach? The cable is brand new because my old one walked away during the swap. Thanks for any help.
